Everyday Skirt

The Everyday Skirt, is a very full, flared, skirt with six gores.  

This skirt has more volume and flare than our A-line 6 gore Skirt; in a size 4x, a sweep of 126" vs. 105".

• standard length is about 34" long, from top of waistband to hem

fabrics

Photo shows it made in a crinkle cotton fabric, but it works equally well with denim, or a rayon challis print, pretty much any fabric.

Flat, extended Waist / Hip @ 10" down / Sweep (at hemline) 

Small (1x/2x) - 52 1/2"/72"/117", 1x elastic is 30", 2x elastic is 33" 

Medium (3x/4x) - 66"/84"/129"/, 3x elastic is 36", 4x elastic is 39" 

Large (5x/6x) - 76 1/2"/96"/ 141", 5x elastic is 42", 6x elastic is 45" 

XL (7x/8x) - 85 1/2"/108"/153", 7x elastic is 48", 8x elastic is 50"

 XXL (9x/10x) - 94 1/2"/120"/165", 9x elastic is 52", 10x elastic is 54"

*in larger sizes, depending on the fabric, we may need to add seams.

Our cut and sew charge would be $82 without pockets, $87 with.

For this style as shown, for sizes S - L, you need 3 1/2 yards of 58/60" wide fabric.

For size XL and XXL sizes (OR for one way fabrics) 4 1/2 yards.

If you have a narrow, 44/45" fabric, sizes S-L require 6 yards,

XL and XXL need 7 yards.

This style works for both stretch and non-stretch fabrics, but it whichever it is, it shouldn't be too stiff. (If you want it much longer, you'll need extra fabric).
