Southampton Tunic - multiple fabrics and necklines

The popular Southampton Dress, now available in shorter tunic lengths.

• is the cousin of the Newbury Tunic, but the pattern is adjusted specifically for woven fabrics with little to no stretch, whereas the Newbury pattern is specifically cut for stretchy knit fabrics.
• the Southampton has a loose fit through the bodice
• 6 different necklines to choose from
• a full, shirred skirt
• available with and without sleeves
• side seam pockets included
• standard tunic length is about 38" long

This pattern is meant for woven, non-stretch fabrics.

Bust & Waist / Hip & Sweep (at hemline) / Bicep (circumference) measurements for this style are:

 1x - 51"/94"/19 3/4", 2x - 55"/94"/21 3/4", 3x - 59"/94"/23 1/2", 

4x - 63"/114"/ 25 1/4", 5x - 67"/114"/ 27", 6x - 71"/114"/29",

*7x - 78 1/2"/138"/31", *8x - 85 1/2" / 138"/33 3/4",

*9x - 92 1/2"/162"/36 1/4", *10x - 99 1/2"/162"/39 1/4"

*in some narrow fabrics, and in some larger sizes, depending on the fabric, we may need to add seams (skirts done in 6 even panels). There is a small surcharge for sizes 7x - 10x.

Neckline depths, from high point shoulder to center front, on a straight diagonal line:

v-neck - 10 1/4", med v-neck 9 1/4", high v-neck - 8 1/4",

high round neck - 7 1/2", medium scoop neck - 8 3/4", scoop neck - 10".

Our cut and sew charge would be $109, including pockets.

For this style as shown, sizes 1x - 6x, you need 3 1/2 yards of at least 54" wide fabric, and it should be a multi directional (if a print).

For sizes 7x - 10x, you need 5 yards. (If you want it much longer (than 40" long), or with long sleeves, you'll need extra fabric).

If your fabric is narrow (less than 54" wide), or it is a one way print, add 2 yards.
