🧵 Suggested Fabrics
Because this dress is very fitted in the bust and sleeves, it must be made in a stretchy knit fabric that has at least 5% spandex. If you need a dressier look, a heavier weight rayon jersey has a beautiful drape and flow in this circular skirt.
The most common knit fabric is Jersey Knit, and it can be found in various fibers and blends: cotton, bamboo, modal, rayon, tencel, polyester, silk, wool, etc. Any will work as long as they have at least 5% spandex in them. Other possible fabric types are Stretch Velvet, Interlock, Ponte, and Scuba, but they also should have at least 5% spandex content.
